Park West Health System is seeking an experienced and passionate HIV Specialist/Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional clinical care while leading the continued growth and development of our comprehensive HIV program.
This is a unique opportunity for a provider who wants to combine direct patient care with program leadership. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with or at risk for HIV while helping shape innovative prevention, treatment, and quality improvement initiatives throughout our organization.

What You'll Do:
As our HIV Specialist, you will:
  • Provide comprehensive primary and HIV specialty care for adults living with HIV.
  • Lead clinical initiatives that strengthen HIV prevention, treatment, and long-term patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement HIV clinical policies, protocols, and best practices across multiple clinic locations.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert on HIV treatment, PrEP, PEP, TasP, and related infectious diseases.
  • Collaborate with providers, behavioral health, case management, outreach, and support services to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor program quality measures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Represent Park West Health System through community partnerships, planning councils, and collaborations with public health agencies.
  • Mentor and educate clinical staff on current HIV standards of care.
  • Participate in rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage with other providers.
  • Deliver compassionate, culturally responsive, patient-centered care that supports our mission and values.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Education:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
Licensure:
  • Current Maryland CRNP license in good standing.
  • National Board Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active Maryland prescriptive authority and Federal DEA licensure.
Experience:
  • AAHIVS or AAHIVE certification required.
  • Minimum one year of direct HIV clinical care experience.
  • Experience managing patients in an ambulatory or primary care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HIV prevention, treatment, and antiretroviral therapy.
  • Experience providing culturally competent, patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine.
  • Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations.
  • Experience in quality improvement, program development, or clinical leadership.
  • Experience collaborating with community organizations and public health agencies.
